Village Fete on The Moor - 4th October 2009

Inspired by the famous quote from Sir Walter Scott that ‘Sheffield was England’s largest village’, The Moor, Sheffield  hosted a village fete and a great time was had by all.

In addition to the usual fete type games, activities and stalls (supporting local charities) there was the opportunity to view our much talked about mural on Rockingham Gate, visit the shops on The Moor and watch knights in battle, not something that happens everyday in the city centre! 

It was a fun, family day out highlighting the best of Sheffield in our own ‘little village’
