As you have probably noticed, there is a lot of work going on on the Moor at the moment!

We really appreciate your input, thoughts and concern regarding the development, and keep those comments coming.

Primarily the three key developments currently are:

1) On Eyre street the new car park is being constructed known as Block 11, obviously essential for shoppers to park directly in the heart of the Moor, closest to your favourite shops.

2) Towards the bottom of the Moor, near Moorfoot and opposite Atkinsons, you will have noticed a whole row of shops vacated ready for demolition. This is where the new markets block will be built known as Block 6, it will also feature state of the art apartments and better facilities for the shops who will be the future tennants.

3) Permission has recently been granted for the redevelopment of Block 1, this being behind Debenhams / Charter Row and down the Moor from Debenhams to Rockingham Gate. This is very exciting and will include a feature building being the tallest in the vicinity.

Work has already commenced on site with completion of the above three projects expected by early 2011. As you can presume, there are a lot more 'Blocks' which are still in the planning stages and are all very exciting to our new MoorSheffield.
