It seemed like summer forgot us this year, but The Moor captured the season’s fun as it hosted Beach on the Moor 30th July – 5th August. The shopping area was transformed into a virtual beach and played host to a variety of beach activities including a surf simulator, games, performances, face painting, sandcastle competitions, knobbly knees contests, bucking broncos and even its own Mr and Mrs competition. Debenhams joined in the summer spirit by giving away free beach towels to the first 50 people who came to Beach on the Moor.
